NAIROBI, Kenya — A spirited Harambee Stars side produced one of their finest performances in recent memory on Tuesday evening, defeating Sudan 2-0 at a packed Nyayo National Stadium to breathe fresh life into their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign.

The hosts dominated from the first whistle, dictating possession and creating a string of half-chances before Michael Olunga broke the deadlock in the 58th minute, capitalising on a defensive error to slot home confidently from eight yards. The capacity crowd of 30,000 erupted as the striker wheeled away in celebration.
