Nikita Kering has done it again!
The Kenyan singer has been crowned Best Female East Africa at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), adding another major accolade to her growing collection.
Kering emerged victorious in a competitive category featuring fellow Kenyans Njerae and Bridgit Blue, alongside Tanzania's Zuchu and Abigail Chams, Ethiopia's Veronica Adane and Salemia, Rwanda's Ariel Wayz and Uganda's Winnie Mwagi.
The win marks Kering's fifth AFRIMMA award, following her previous victories in 2019 and 2021.
Interestingly, the singer did not attend the ceremony in Dallas, Texas, but kept her reaction simple, responding to the win with a "Thank you" on social media.
The award comes shortly after the release of her latest EP, The Lick Back, led by the track Niwache.
Another AFRIMMA trophy for Nikita and Kenya has another reason to celebrate!
